LOS ANGELES -- Over 100 law enforcement and government officials, clergy and educators attended an interfaith conference in May at the Church of Scientology Celebrity Center International in Hollywood, California. Unfortunately, the evening proved to be nothing more than a ruse. The Church of Scientology leveraged this opportunity to further a last-ditch defensive campaign. Recent highly critical worldwide exposure has left the Church of Scientology little choice other than feigning claims of internet hate crime and crying for support from anyone that will listen.
A panel of alleged experts unknowingly shared their insights, professional experience and concern over how advanced cell phones are used to perpetrate civil rights abuses, hate crimes, terrorism, fraud, identity theft, and sex slavery. These presentations baffled the un-expecting audience go-ers. Really now, cell phones?
Internet technologists explained how the Internet is structured and used as the base for free speech and as shelter to maintain constitutionally protected anonymity, for the millions of users logged on at any given time. Even big business and governments constantly praise the internet age as a new golden era for those seeking discussion, truth, money, assets, or valuable information.
Following the indoctrination, Bishop Ted Frazier, President of the Faith-Based Coalition of the San Francisco Bay Area and guest speaker, stated, "I am shocked and dismayed at the types, severity and volume of crime and intolerance found online". This came as a surprise to many attendees who previously thought of Frazier as an intelligent individual.
After researching the Church of Scientology, it is commonplace for the average citizen to proclaim, "This information is too valuable to sit on. We have to go state-wide with this, get every clergy council involved, become united, teach our communities these things,". Abhorrent abuses perpetrated by the faux-religion are indeed quite shocking.
The roster of notable speakers included Deputy Chief LAPD Michael Downing, who spoke about the encroachment of hate crime and terrorism, which are two of Scientology's most common accusations when confronting truth. Brad Dacus, the President of the Pacific Justice Institute, posed and answered the question: Is religious freedom on thin ice? While he noted with considerable accuracy that religious institutions are under attack, he also articulated the need for solidarity. The law protects legitimate entities and punishes unlawful persons, an unfortunate reality for the leader's of Scientology. A crime against one person is a crime against all persons. Society should stand together against criminal syndicates masquerading as religions.
Detective Chris Keeling of the Los Angeles Sheriff's Dept Gang & Hate Crimes Investigation Unit gave an in-depth view into how kids access far more information on the Internet than their parents or teachers are capable of, and learn valuable life skills, leaving the door open to truth, justice, and the humanitarian way. The Church of Scientology expressed a great fear of truth and counters it with empty claims of persecution.
Information technology specialists Mr. Andrew Duggan, President & CEO of Dynamic Energy Capital Inc., Mr. Ryan Sherstobitoff of Panda Security and Mr. Bob Lotter the CEO of eAgency, each articulated the risks and dangers inherent in the digital communications revolution, which are exploited by the Church of Scientology, pedophiles, the 12-billion dollar sex slave industry, modern terrorist cells operating via secret networks. The trio gave suggestions for solutions to these crimes.
In closing, four prominent clergy took the podium to express the power of solidarity. Dr. Edward Nasioki of the World Missionary Fellowship, Ms. Shazia Kamal of the Muslim Public Affairs Council and Bishop Ted Frazier of the Faith-Based Coalition of the San Francisco Bay area each articulated in their own special way the importance of a resolution to these evils. The conference was closed by the indomitable Rev. Cecil (Chip) L. Murray, who offered a fitting prayer of strength, hope and love. Rev. Murray expressed what most attendees felt -- that the conference gave "a superb lift to the community". Personally experiencing Scientology's shockingly vapid presentation gave a sense of urgency in exposing this volatile and dangerous cult.
