Anne Desmet is one of the most original talents in contemporary artist-printmaking. She has a unique imagination and technical expertise, and explores human aspiration through city-building and architecture.
Her work goes beyond view making, looking at themes of transformation and regeneration, endurance and change.
Urban Evolution features work made by Anne Desmet in the last ten years, including a new series of twenty-nine images based on the decline and regeneration of Manchester's Victoria Baths, the first winner of the BBC's Restoration series in 2003.
