Join Dick on his quest for fame and fortune and to see if the streets of London really are paved with gold. It's the beginning of an adventure that will lead from London to Morocco, with a trip to the bottom of the sea on the way.
Can Dick win the hand of the fair Alice Fitzwarren? Can he and his faithful cat rid London of King Rat and his hordes of little rats? And will his dream of becoming Mayor of London ever come true?
