We intend to operate Rhythm & Booms tomorrow, June 28, even though we expect a few showers or a thundershower in the afternoon.

We also expect showers on Sunday, which would have been the rain date, but accompanied by cooler temperatures and more wind. Sunday's weather would provide a much less comfortable environment for fireworks viewing.

At this time, it appears the weather in the evening for the fireworks will be good. The best chance of showers is from noon to 3PM, so when you come to the park, please bring a rain poncho, tarp or other protection so you can dance between the showers.

In spite of the showers, please come and enjoy our music stages, festivities, food and fun!

Earlier the Rhythm and Boom organizers had released this statement too.

Rhythm & Booms will return to Madison on Saturday, June 28, 2008 (rain date Sunday, June 29, 2008)
