Earlier this week, reports surfaced that Affleck and his wife of three years, Jennifer Garner, were close to splitting. A spokesperson for the couple quickly denied the report.

On Friday, in an interview with Access Hollywood, Affleck said life with Jennifer Garner and the couple's two-year-old daughter Violet was going well.

"Things are pretty great," Affleck said, when asked if he had any vacation plans on the horizon. "We're very happy. Things couldn't be better. We're kind of taking it easy and just kind of enjoying a little downtime at home."

Affleck can be seen this October in the comedy "He's Just Not That Into You" with Jennifer Connelly, Scarlett Johansson, Jennifer Aniston and Drew Barrymore. The Baltimore-set movie of interconnecting story lines deals with the challenges of reading or misreading human behavior.

Jennifer Garner's next movie release is the comedy "This Side Of Truth" due in theaters next year and starring Jason Bateman and Rob Lowe - a comedy set in a world where no one has ever lied, until a writer seizes the opportunity for personal gain.
