MyGallons.com Sells Tomorrow's Gas With Today's Prices

A new company called MyGallons.com has started to sell tomorrow's gas with today's prices. I am wondering if this may be a new way to manipulate the gas prices and raise the price of my gallons tomorrow.

Todays Hot Topics Good news for consumers? A company has begun selling tomorrows gas for todays prices. You can go to MyGallons.com and start an account with them. You then purchase future gas at todays prices. That’s right!

Todays gas prices locked in for use at a future date! So for example if you purchase 100 gallons at $3.95 per gallon you would spend $395.00 today.

Let’s say next week gas costs $5.95 per gallon, you could then use your account to purchase gas at $3.95 per gallon rather than $5.95 per gallon up to the number of gallons you purchased.

It’s a prepaid gas plan. Sounds like the MyGallons.com has got a great idea as long as gas prices are going up. However, is a gamble.

Something crazy might happen, like some genius discovers a way to turn cockroaches into fuel - prices plunge - and you are left with a hundred gallons of gas at high prices.

However, we don't know. If you use MyGallons.com you will be at your own risk.

Who knows what will happen to the price of my gallons after this elections or after car companies start mass producing electric powered cars?

Gas prices are always going up, I can't remember a time when they dropped significantly for any lengthy duration. I'm going to be spending that money on gas anyway, why not pay it all at once and save a couple bucks?
