Ten thousand smelly sneakers were cause for celebration in Washington July 2.
They set a world record for the longest chain of shoes, while teaching kids about recycling.
A national children's magazine sponsored the event at their downtown headquarters, and you might be surprised to hear what will happen to the shoes next. VOA's Carolyn Presutti shows us.
