Nader was not saying that Obama was talking white as an attack against his "proper english". He was obviously stating that when a black man has the chance to be president, especially a black man who knows what problems inner city and rural poor people face, should have already had a plan to address those problems and instead Barack Obama is not addressing them at all so as not to seem like some militant black activist by the talking head pundits "opinion makers" who lead so many like sheep by just appearing on TV.
I think the problem Obama has is that they think that the people who voted for him in the primary will have no other option but McCain so he can flip flop all he wants. What a mistake. It is so dishonest and shows his campaign as nothing more than a cooked-up campaign strategy that only has the ability to work once...fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. Why can't authenticity and real thought prevail. I remember the pro-war democrats right at the very beginning...so phony of them to support a war of all things just because it was popular after 9/11. I was anti-war then. I remember the pro-war democrats turning anti-war when public opinion swelled that way. I'm voting for Nader. He will tell you like it is, and the positions don't change, because they are based in truth, you cannot change truth. For instance, you can argue all day about weapons of mass destruction, or un-manned aerial vehicles being sent by Saddam to blow us up in America, or you can argue about democracy. The fact of the matter is that we were'nt attacked first by Iraq, but rather attacked them first. How do you shoot, blow up, and mutilate human bodies without being attacked first? Should we not have just secured our borders and been able to detect any attack on us or our allies? Anyone reading this has the internet and can search out pictures of dead people in Iraq killed by war. Not a pretty picture. Maybe you surf over and find the video of Nicholas Berg getting his head chopped off. I have. I could never kill anyone unless attacked first. If we don't learn this simple lesson, we are doomed to the same type of violence that has been around since the beginning of human history. Just changing this fundamental thought to not attacking anyone unless they attack you first would mean no more war. America is smart enough to secure our own borders and to detect attacks. Think.
