The Berkshire Museum in downtown Pittsfield will present its 24th Annual Festival of Trees from November 15, 2008-January 4, 2009. Approximately 200 trees decorated by local individuals, businesses, organizations, and schools will reflect this year’s eco-friendly theme of “Green Christmas.” Tree designers are encouraged to create trees with the environment in mind.

“The Festival of Trees has become a holiday tradition throughout the community,” said Stuart A. Chase, executive director of the Berkshire Museum. “With an increased interest in ‘green’ living, this year’s theme will certainly be a relevant and innovative holiday celebration.”

The Festival of Trees is sponsored by Legacy Banks.
