Charlotte Police Dispatched To Investigage Suspicious Packages

Streets in some parts of Charlotte, NC were closed today due to two suspicious devices that the police found under trees.

The suspicious devices were found in uptown Charlotte near Fuel Pizza area. But we don't know exactly where at this point because Fuel Pizza has several locations in Charlotte, NC.

However, police officers had shut down streets in the area while the bomb squad worked, and parts of College Street and Sixth Street were impacted.

The devices were found beneath a tree. Police used a remote-operated robot to collect one device. As of 12:15 p.m., they were in the process of collecting the second device.

Now, while the streets are opened we don't know more about the devices.

HULIQ called the appropriate media people in Charlotte Police Department, but no one was available to return our call. We left messages and as we receive the phone calls about the situation from the experts we will update this story with more details.
