Step inside stories from around the globe in Once Upon a Time...Exploring the World of Fairy Tales, a hands-on exhibit that brings beloved multicultural fairy tales to life. From an African jungle to a giant's castle, your family will enter the larger-than-life pages of favorite fairy tales. The exhibit is designed for children ages three to 10, but will appeal to children of all ages.

Working up a sweat is fun in Run! Jump! Fly! Adventures in Action! The newest exhibit created and developed by Minnesota Children's Museum inspires children to get physically active. Visitors can step into scenes right out of action-adventure stories and jump into action star training – playful activities that kids can do in and around home to build strength, coordination, balance and endurance. What's a summer without camping? Bring your tent and leave the summer heat and bugs outside! Play throughout our seven fun-packed galleries, enjoy special camping activities, make an indoor s'more and more. Each camper will receive a participation patch as well as dinner, snack, and continental breakfast. Free overnight parking in the parking ramp kitty-corner from the Museum is also included. Cost is $30 per member and $35 per non-member.
Get Into the Right Step at "Go Healthy" Day

Ride a child-size exercise bike! Get your picture taken with Hugo and most importantly, inspire your family to get healthy! Meet staff and volunteers from the American Heart Association who will help you learn about healthy eating and activity choices.
