Dark Knight Sequel To Star Matthew Lesko as Riddler?

Gotham is abuzz with media reports that mega-manic infomercial kingpin Matthew Lesko has been tapped to play the Riddler in the next Batman/Dark Knight sequel, “The Dark Knight Forever,” slated for 2010.

In his trademark question mark suit, Lesko - “the guru of government giveaways” - has developed a huge cult following for his off-beat high-octane personality pitching government money programs on television talk shows and his late-night infomercials.

The announcement, which appeared Tuesday on Google, quoted Warner Bros. production president Jeff Robinov. "I can't quite put my finger on what it is, but my gut tells me [Lesko’s] a natural for this part. There's just something about his look that screams 'Riddler!'"

Lesko isn’t being coy. “I can’t confirm or deny anything at this point. All I know is that my reputation is on the line here, and I’m not joking.”

“While they’re at it, they should look at some of the freebies we put up there. The real riddle is why more people don’t apply for this free stuff,” he said – then vanished.

Do not put him as the Riddler. It would kill everything this last movie has accomplished. Get someone who can play the part, not someone who dresses like the party. No one is going to match Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker, but get someone who can come close to performing like that, but as the Riddler instead. Someone like Timothy Olyphant would play a perfect riddler. Although Christopher Nolan made a bold move making Heath Ledger the Joker, and if I had really payed any attention to it when it was announced, I would have probably questioned that as well. But if you want to make the movie dark, like this last one, make Olyphant the Riddler. I could see him making riddles and burning a city to chaos. But he would indeed have to pull of a stunning performance like Ledger did.

believe me or not , i dont realy give a **** , but my friend is working close to some of the writers on the next batman film , and APPARANTLY the next story goes somthing like this. Do not read if you dont want to know what happens. Harvey Dent is dead, Rachel SURVIVES, and after finding out that Batman killed her heroic fiance/the man she loved the most, she transforms into Poison Ivy and the next film is a revenge story involving Rachel as Poison Ivy, trying to hunt down and kill Batman/Bruce Wayne. The Joker escapes half way through and murders Alfred, thus robbing Batman of his father figure and voice of reason. Gordon has gone into hiding, and the entire police force has been killed enmasse, and the Joker has assumed control over Wayne Enterprises remb that the new writers are totally revamping the batman franchise , changing OLD story lines ,, ect... ) , essentially giving him access to bigger guns and a new WMD. This film will be the darkest of the series, as Batman will be hunted by the only "good" guys left, the mob, the Joker and the only woman he ever loved. This is not garunteed yet , due to heath ledgers death , they still apparantly decided wether to change the story and remove the joker , or to cast somebody else for the part. ( ive been told they WANT daniel day lewis , but who knows. ) anyway thats what ive heard ,u dont like it then tough! apparently in rachaels madness, she gets connected with the scarecrow who gives her access to his plant book about rare poisons found in plants. She is tricked and put under his control through the use of weaponized hallucinagenic gases, and becomes poison ivy, however her desire to kill Bruce Wayne is rooted in her true self. In a surprising twist, the Joker has a brother named the Riddler, and he teams up with the Joker when he is freed from Arkham Asylum, and together they overthrow Wayne Enterprises

Yeah ok Gotter sure you loser. A third Batman hasn't even been confirmed so why would they be writing the script?

"The Dark Knight Forever"? What idiot penned that, at this point Chris Nolan hasnt decided on a third movie. The writers have even said they don't have any idea who the villian would be. The guy who is said above to be featured as the riddler looks like a joke.

Ok - now listen to someone who knows what is really going on - Yes, there will be a 3rd movie - no the joker will not be in it. No, rachel does not come back. No, there will be no poison ivey, bain, riddler, penguin and no robin. If you all would go to the warner bros website, you will read that yes, Nolan is doing the 3rd movie and that Twoface will be back along with Catwoman. everyone should stop talking about johnny depp as the riddler and especially jolie as Catwoman. Jolie would suck as Catwoman - Now Kate Beckinsale - perfect for the role! If you think not, see her in Underworld!

It has to be this or nothing now that people are talking about it. It is the only thing that possibly could come close to Ledger as the Joker. Depp is loving the fact that everyone talking about is making his salary requirements go higher and higher. He should be us a viewing in 2-3 years when it comes out as I am sure that a studio is going to be interested in another movie that already pulled over $400 million in less than three weeks. What would they have considered a failure??? $100 million. This awesome franchise will be back and hopefully by 2010 summer. The Rat
