If the speculations are true, then Alicia Keys and Jack White will team up for a theme song for the new James Bond Movie, “Quantum of Solace.”However, a section of the public still reckons that there is a slim chance for controversial singer Amy Winehouse to get the deal.

Despite long-standing rumors that Amy Winehouse was going to record the theme for the new James Bond film, it appears two Americans have beat her to the punch.

It is expected that Alicia Keys and Jack White of bands The White Stripes and The Raconteurs, will record the theme for “Quantum of Solace,” according to sources privy to the matter revealed.

The theme track, called “Another Way To Die,” was written and produced by white. Recently, rumors have spread that Leona Lewis might take on the song duties.

The movie is expected to debut in November, but the soundtrack will be out October 28.It is the first time that any James Movie video is featuring a duo for its theme.

Keys and White are not new to the Big Screens. Keys previously made her big-screen debut in early 2007 in the crime film Smokin' Aces, co-starring as an assassin named Georgia Sykes opposite Ben Affleck, Ray Liotta, Common, Andy Garcia, Taraji P. Henson, Jeremy Piven and Ryan Reynolds.

Keys earned further praise for her second film outing, The Nanny Diaries, based on the 2002 novel of the same name by Emma McLaughlin and Nicola Kraus, released on August 24, 2007, in which she co-stars alongside Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans as Lynette, Johansson's character Annie's best friend.

Jack White is an American musician, record producer, and occasional actor best known as the guitarist and lead vocalist of the alternative rock musical duo The White Stripes. He is also a member of rock band The Raconteurs.

P.S.
H.R. 534, the Human Cloning Prohibition Act of 2003, was introduced to the U.S. House of Representatives on February 5, 2003. After discussion, it was passed on February 27 by a vote of 241-155. It now moves on to the Senate for consideration. This bill makes it unlawful for any person or entity to perform or participate in human cloning, or to ship or receive embryos produced by human cloning. The penalties are imprisonment of up to 10 years and fines of $1 million or more.
These now join other nations as diverse as Norway, Australia, and Germany, which had already added cloning for any purpose to their criminal code. And in Germany where it carries a penalty of five years imprisonment they know a thing or two about unethical science.
