Jessica Simpson's Latest Album Inspired By Ex Boy Friends

Jessica Simpson has finally admitted that finding happiness with Cowboys quarterback Romo was not that easy.Jessica Simpson’s latest album, titled "Do You Know," will be released Sept. 9, and is widely rumored to be inspired by Simpson’s past life.

In fact, Jessica Simpson has opened up about the string of exes who helped inspire her latest album.

"I was going through a lot of pain," Simpson told Elle magazine about the period after her split from Nick Lachey in 2005.She also adds that, "I didn't try anything to change my life other than dating different types of guys and conforming to their worlds. I thought I had to be artsier, more intellectual."

She also talked about "Remember That," a song about an abusive relationship, which is also in her latest album. She says the song portrays and reveals her past experiences with relationships.

"I have definitely experienced abuse in a way that I would tell people to take their heart and run," Simpson said of an unidentified ex.

"Remember That," contains the lyrics, "It doesn't matter how he hurts you / With his hands or with his words / You don't deserve it / It ain't worth it / Take your heart and run."

Whereas she has refused to talk about way she wrote such a song, she said “I don't want to talk about it," she says. "But I have definitely experienced abuse in a way that I would tell people to take their heart and run."

Simpson also talked about her current boygriend, quarterback Tony Romo. "Tony understands me. He appreciates my talent. He's the first person I've spiritually connected with. I'm a girl that loves to be in love. I love love!"

Jessica Simpson is an American pop singer and actress who rose to fame in the late 1990s. She has achieved seven Billboard Top 40 hits, and has two gold and three multi-platinum RIAA-certified albums.
