
Beautiful choreography and touching subject matters feature in a gorgeous triple bill of contemporary dance from international acts at Dance Base as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Scotland's own X Factor Dance Company will be performing an exclusive rework of Unspoken, originally produced in 2000. Artistic director Alan Greig and Peter Kyle, from New York, will explore the mystery and secrets of a drowned man in this compelling and haunting duet. This is the first time audiences and critics will have the chance to see Peter Kyle perform in Scotland.
winter guests is the company of Alan Lucien Oyen from Norway. In time and it will snow is a delicate and beautiful duet written as a series of journal entries following the last year in the life of a terminally ill patient.
Crazy in love with MR. PERFECT tells of two young people, one male and one female, both in search of the perfect man. This piece is created and performed by Steinunn Ketilsdottir and Brian Gerke from Iceland.
Throughout the festival, X Factor Dance Company will also be displaying a collection of photographs by Paul Watt in the Dance Art exhibition 'A Decade of Dance'.
