Actors Theatre of Louisville's The Late Seating will hold a Rooftop Concert August 8 from 10:30 p.m. until approximately 12:30 a.m. Doors open at 9:30 p.m. The summer concert will be held atop the Actors parking garage and will feature local music acts Adventure, I Am Is and Venus Trap, plus video from Louisville Film Society and visual art.
Drinks and summer fare will be available for purchase at the event. Alternate inclement weather location will be inside the Actors complex.
Rooftop Concert tickets are available at the Actors Box Office at Third and Main Street or by phone at 502-584-1205. Tickets purchased in advance are $10. Tickets purchased day of event are $15 (or $10 with an Actors Theatre ticket stub). A $1 Historic Landmark Facility will be added to prices. Phone fees apply.
The concert is a reprise of the successful 2007 event which featured music acts Anton Mink, Ultra Pulverize and Your Highness Electric, videos from Louisville Film Society and visual art by David Metcalf, Thomas Brown and Team Dobson.
The Late Seating, a series of late night events at Actors Theatre, aims to create an environment that showcases local artists, ignites conversation between creative disciplines and provides an entertaining evening for young art enthusiasts.
