Husband Charlie Divorces Dixie Chicks' Emily Robison

The Dixie Chicks Emily Robison and her husband singer and songwriter Charlie Robison have divorced. Both were in court at the Bexar County Courthouse yesterday.

Charlie filed for divorce in January and this was finalised on grounds that the marriage had 'become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities.'

The couple were married in 1999 and have three children: two sons Charles Augustus (Gus) (11/11/02) and Henry Benjamin Robison (4/14/2005) and a daughter Julianna Tex (4/14/2005).

Emily Robison was born August 16 1962 in Pittsfield, MA and the Dixie Chicks were formed in 1989 in Dallas, Texas. They released their first independent album Thank Heaven For Dale Evans in 1990.
