Share Trading in July
The value of average daily share trading amounted to EUR 3.2 billion, as compared to EUR 4.6 billion during the past 12-month period. The average number of trades per business day amounted to 187,122, as compared to 210,044 during the past 12-month period. The total market cap of listed companies at OMX Nordic Exchange amounted to EUR 693 billion, compared to EUR 1,095 billion in July 2007.
Derivatives Trading
The average daily trading volume in derivative products amounted to 564,704 contracts, as compared to 675,422 contracts during the past 12-month period. The average daily trading volume in share products was 252,675 contracts, as compared to 330,097 contracts during the past 12 month period. The average daily trading volume in index products were 239,718 contracts, compared to 233,911 contracts during the past 12-month period.
