Sterling's affiliates include Bank of Lebanon County with branches at 440 E. Lincoln Ave. in Jackson Township and 830 Norman Drive in North Cornwall Township. Other affiliates are Bank of Lancaster County, Bank of Hanover, Delaware Sterling Bank & Trust Co., Bay First Bank, PennSterling Bank and Pennsylvania State Bank.
Between the close of business Friday and the reopening of branches today, PNC converted 57 Sterling branches and more than 87,000 customer accounts to PNC Bank.
"The integration of Sterling and its affiliate banks into PNC strengthens our valuable Mid-Atlantic banking franchise and expands our ability to deliver products and services to this rapidly growing region," said Dennis P. Brenckle, president of PNC Bank for Central Pennsylvania, in the release.
