
The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:NDAQ) today announced that The NASDAQ Stock Market (NASDAQ) has listed a new exchange traded fund (ETF) sponsored by Barclays Global Investors, N.A. (BGI).
NASDAQ listed the iShares MSCI All Country Asia ex Japan Index Fund (Nasdaq:AAXJ). The Fund is based on the MSCI All Country Asia ex Japan Index which consists of the following 11 developed and emerging market country indices: China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand.
The iShares MSCI All Country Asia ex Japan Index Fund is the seventh iShares ETF to list on NASDAQ in 2008, compared to 5 iShares ETF listings in all of 2007.
