When you look at the photos of Nishita Shah from Thailand you would never say that this young promising girl is in Thailand's top 40 richest people list provided by Forbes and that the magazine lists Shah as one of the next generation billionaires.

However, despite her ability and celebrity calibre not much is known about Nishita Shah. Even the Wikipedia does not have much information about Nishita Shat during the writing for this story. Not even a photo of Nishita.

Nishita Shah is a 28 year old Boston U. grad with a net worth of $350 million. She is currently the largest individual shareholder and director of Precious Shipping, Thailand's biggest dry-bulk shipper. Nishita's father, Kirit, founded the group in 1989 and took it public 1993. Her family emigrated from India to Burma to Thailand many years ago.

Nishita is a licensed pilot. Shah also owns a clothing company called Burn Baby and will soon be launching her own fashion label "-Nsha-" on three continents at the end of the 2008.

Precious Shipping, a copmany in Thailand lists her as the biggest shareholder and the managing director of the company's GP Group.

Forbes writes that "After the 2004 tsunami she made a long-term commitment to a hard-hit fishing village, Baan Talay Nok, promising to help it recover and to cover the educational costs through university for children who lost one or both parents, roughly 20 in all."

Nishita Shah is also a supporter and fundraiser for Breast Cancer. She the patron and fundraiser for the Queen Sirikit Center for Breast Cancer. According to Forbes she has donated the center $160,000 for education, research and construction costs with her mother Anju.
