Europe: The Music, The Magic

The Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra is hosting a tour to some of Europe’s most magical…and musical cities. HSO Executive Director, Jeff Woodruff will take a group to Salzburg, Linz, Vienna and Prague November 30 – December 7, 2008. Travelers can expect to visit historic sites, view breathtaking scenery, shop in charming holiday markets, and enjoy classical music throughout this eight day tour.

EUROPE: the Music & the Magic will include visits to Mozart’s birthplace in Salzburg, the Mozarthaus where Mozart composed his Linz Symphony, and a magnificent tour of Vienna’s Schoenbrunn Palace. In addition, the tour will see familiar scenes from “The Sound of Music,” dine in the wine-making village of Grinzing and shop in holiday markets in Salzburg, Vienna and Prague.

Guests may also choose to add one or both of two Special Concert Evenings. These tickets will be an additional fee above the price of the tour. The Special Concert Evenings include:

Christoph Eschenbach, Conductor
Mahler ~ Symphony No. 3
