"Confessions" Set to Rip through You

Confession: it’s that one thing most of us who are young or young at heart will look away with a face turned up as though we were a virgin teenage girl turning up a lip of disgust while being exposed to something too offensive. Is it right to confess? Or just accept a guilt-trip when others are having a rip snorter of a good time with the same pleasures of the flesh. Well one band represents nothing but this kind of raucous good time to what others shun away with such guilt trips and “Confessions”.

They stem from the depths of Australia’s toughest heavy rock music. Melbourne, Adelaide and Byron Bay bourgeois fever is at the mercy of one of Australia’s finest hardcore/metal bands. This group of misfits, throw out an explosive thrust and ooze out how grouse their experience gets. Some of the hardest of wild Australian bands this group has toured with include: 50 Lions and widely-adored, yet now defunct, I killed the Prom Queen.

What really makes them a crowd-puller is the their notorious lead singer Michael Crafters who lets loose a tumultuous vocal storm which brings Confessions stage power as something that is second to none. This outpour may be brutal but lives in harmony with an exciting new heavy but melodic presence. They tour the country with the likes of Parkway Drive, Bury Your Dead and Misery Signals, as they destroy the stages one by one.

Following their 2008 EP “Can’t Live Can’t Breathe” these chaps have been working hard for the past five months for their new album. This album is full of heavy, catchy riffs and reek terror as they push boundaries. Undoubtedly, Australia’s heavy music scene will be taken to new heights by a band that is bound to take it all to the next level. The elements of the previous work are just heavier, catchier and a hell of a lot more pissed off.

On October 9 Confession proudly introduced its debut album titled "Cancer" to the world, with the band touring nationally throughout October and November taking with them Nazarite Vow and No Way Out.
