North Korea's state media say an Iranian Foreign Ministry delegation arrived in Pyongyang today.
The Iranian delegation is led by Deputy Foreign Minister Mehdi Mahdi Safari.
No further details were immediately available.
Both Iran and North Korea are facing international pressure to give up their nuclear programs.
