Tacoma Art Museum's Features European Cabaret

Tacoma Art Museum will turn Greater Tacoma Convention and Trade Center into a European cabaret on Saturday, March 3, 2007, from 7 pm to midnight. Night Tacoma Danced, a gala to benefit the museum, is a black-tie gala event, though sequins, feathers, and extra sparkle are encouraged at this Bohemian celebration.

The evening will feature an art sale featuring work by select Northwest artists, three-course dinner, a mini live auction, and music by Tacoma's Kim Archer Band.

"Night Tacoma Danced is the most fun you can have while supporting the work Tacoma Art Museum does in this community," said Director Stephanie Stebich. "The volunteers on the Tacoma Art Museum Activities Council (TAMAC) who plan and staff the event get more creative every year as they orchestrate this party and art sale. It's a wonderful opportunity to come see and be seen."

Support generated through Night Tacoma Danced has far-reaching impact in Tacoma and beyond. Proceeds from this year's event will support Tacoma Art Museum's educational programming, focusing on the museum's commitment to reaching new audiences and building community through art.

Night Tacoma Danced raffle tickets are available for $10. Complete prize information is available online at www.TacomaArtMuseum.org. Raffle tickets can be purchased at Tacoma Art Museum's store or from any TAMAC member.

Ruby tickets to Night Tacoma Danced start at $175 per person and include reserved seating, cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres, a three-course dinner, and live entertainment. Diamond tickets offer the additional benefits of early admission for priority art sales and valet parking for $250. Ruby Family admission offers two Ruby tickets and a $75 family membership for $400.
