Dr. Dulcamara's magic elixir promises the power to win her heart-but the true magic might just be Adina's potent charms and Nemorino's boundless devotion. Opera Colorado will transport the staging to the delightful innocence of middle America at a county fair in the 1910's. This new production, complete with a vintage Model-T ice cream truck, is sure to bring smiles and cheers.

Soprano Maria Kanyova (Don Giovanni, 2003; The Marriage of Figaro, 2005; The Abduction from the Seraglio, 2006) returns to Opera Colorado to sing the role of the carefree beauty, Adina. Internationally acclaimed English tenor Barry Banks* (Metropolitan Opera, New York City Opera, Royal Opera House Covent Garden) makes his company debut as the smitten farmer, Nemorino.
