Dayton Philharmonic To Perform With Church Choir

26 Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra members and Music Director Neal Gittleman travel to Omega Baptist Church on Sunday, February 4 for a 5 pm concert with the Omega Baptist Church Choir.

The program, which includes several works performed together with the Omega Baptist Church Choir, features a varied repertoire by classical, and African-American, composers.

Omega Baptist Church is located at 1821 Emerson Avenue. Admission is free, but on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, call 937-222-3447.

The end of the 2006-2007 Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra Community Performance Series leads into the Saturday, February 17, 2007 Boundless Harmony Special Event concert at the Schuster Center at 8 pm featuring cellist Karen Patterson and her jazz ensemble.
