Warm Up Your Winter With Vancouver Symphony

It's cold outside, but it's warm in here! February is a hot month for concerts at the VSO. This month is anything but the winter blahs: it features a world premiere commission by a member of the orchestra, a guitar legend, a romantic Valentine's treat, and a grand celebration of great Russian Classical music - complete with some of the greatest classical artists on the planet.

The February lineup: A beautiful and joyous Musically Speaking with Bramwell Tovey, Stewart Goodyear, VSO Principal Cellist Lee Duckles, and a world premiere by VSO Associate Principal Trumpet Marcus Goddard. Then, legendary Spanish guitarist Pepe Romero and the hauntingly beautiful Concierto de Aranjuez. For Valentine's, a Pops "Love & Romance" with Bramwell Tovey and the VSO.

And rounding out the month, a five-evening RussiaFest! celebrating passionate Russian repertoire with violinist Vadim Gluzman, pianist Freddy Kempf, pianist Avan Yu, narrator Christopher Gaze, VSO Concertmaster Mark Fewer, and Maestro Bramwell Tovey.
