In tennis it is all about footwork. To have great footwork it helps to have great shoes. Want better footwork on your next match on the court? Well let's see what tennis shoes the US Open winner wears.

Regardless who wins the 2009 US Open men's title on Monday, the winner will be wearing shoes by Nike. Both Roger Federer and Juan Martin Del Potro wear Nike appearl during their tennis matches. Federer even has his signature "F" on the back of his tennis shoes.

Federer and Del Potro are in good company with other tennis stars that did very well in this year's tournament. Nike is also the tennis shoes that Serena Williams and Rafael Nadal both wear.

Kim Clijsters was the 2009 US Open winner for the women's. During the tournament Clijsters wore clothing from the new Fila's Fall Heritage collection. Her outfit consisted of the classic red, white and navy colors of Fila's history. The white Fila tennis shoes capped off Clijsters outfit and helped her move during the comeback story of the year.

The other main brand of tennis shoes the US Open winner wear were from Adidas. Although Caroline Wozniacki fell short of winning the 2009 US Open women's title, she definitely won the hearts of many fans. During the whole tournament Wozniacki sported a tennis outfit designed by Stella McCartney for Adidas. Wozniacki's tennis shoes were named "Skynde", which means hurry up in Danish her native language.

Adidas was the tennis shoes that Novak Djokovic wore during the tournament, including his incredible match against the legendary John McEnroe. Djokovic wore his own signature series shoes called the CC Genius Novak NY. Those shoes took him all the way to the men's semifinals.

But of all the tennis shoes the US Open winner wears that got the most attention were worn by the 17 year old Melanie Oudin. She was the Cinderella story of the tournament. Her glass slippers were a sporty pink, yellow and black from Adidas and had the word "believe" on the side of them. I am sure it will not be long before we will see lots of young tennis players wearing her shoes. I would not mind a pair myself.
