Kandi Burruss's ex-fiance, Ashley Jewell has been killed. Jewell died at the hospital from injuries he suffered from a fight outside an Atlanta strip club on Friday.
Atlanta Police Lt. Keith Meadows told the Atlanta's WBSTV, "It appears he was involved in an altercation in the parking lot and he received a severe blow to his head."
The investigation is still going on and the details of the altercations are not known at this time. It has been reported that the police is questioning a person of interest at this time.
The altercation took place outside of the Atlanta strip club, Body Tab Club.
Jewell is also known as "AJ". His engagement to Burruss was called off in August. Jewell often appeared on Burruss' show; Bravo's "Real Housewives of Atlanta." Burruss's mother and Jewell often fought on the show over his relationship with her daughter.
Burruss, a singer-songwriter and now TV star, has tweeted her disbelief of what has happened. She asks for her fans to pray for Jewell's children. In addition to dealing with the killing of her ex-fiance, Ashley Jewell, Burruss is also dealing with the death of her uncle who is being buried on Saturday.
