San Diego will have a chance for a little bit of revenge for last season's playoff lost in this Sunday night football game between the Chargers vs Steelers. But this is not the same Pittsburgh team that has beaten them seven out of their last eight games.

The Steelers are struggling this year and have lost their last two games. The Chargers are 2-1 so far for the season, but have only played one team this season with a winning record.

The Baltimore Ravens beat the Chargers and have won all three of their games so far this season. The Chargers have beaten the Oakland Raiders(1-2) and the Miami Dolphins (0-3) so far this season.

If the Chargers want to win against the Steelers Sunday night, they are going to have to stop the Steelers running game. The Chargers defense may receive a little help in this area.

The Steelers are have not been rushing the ball like they normally do. Plus their star running back, Willie Parker is doubtful for the game due to a turf toe injury.

At the same time, the Chargers need to get their running game going. The Chargers are 31st in the league in rushing. They are expecting to get back running back LaDainian Tomlinson for the Sunday night game against the Steelers. Tomlinson has been hampered by a sprained ankle.

With the return of Tomlinson, maybe the Chargers can get their red zone offense going. They have been struggling once they get the ball inside the 20. The Chargers have only managed to sore two touchdowns in eleven trips during their last two games.

Quarterback Philip Rivers must have a big game in order for the Chargers to beat the Steelers. Rivers has been doing his part for the Chargers this season. He leads the NFL in passing yardage.

Rivers and Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger have a special rivalry. Both were drafted in 2004. Rivers was the number four pick and Roethlisberger was number eleven. Roethlisberger has two Superbowl rings; Rivers has none.

The Sunday night football game between Chargers vs Steelers is a must win game for both teams. The winner could be decided by which team shows up for both teams. One thing is guaranteed. It will be a hard fought and fun to watch game.
