Now this is more than just an ATM machine. Citizens has opened a full-service branch inside the Dunkin' Donuts shop. It even has tellers and private offices to help you with all of your banking needs.
So far there is only one Dunkin' Donuts with a Citizens Bank branch in it. If you live just southwest of Boston, you can give it a try.
Citizens is using the Dunkin' Donuts in Bellingham, Mass as a test site. If the results are good in Bellingham, then Citizens would like to put more branches in other Dunkin' Donuts.
Owned by Royal Bank of Scotland Group (RBS), Citizens is looking to offer customers more convenience in their banking options. Not only with placing branches in locations such as Dunkin' Donuts, but also with more banking hours. The new branch inside of the Bellingham Dunkin' Donuts is open 7 days a week and from 6:30am to 6pm.
As a promotion, Citizens is giving people who open a new checking account a free month coffee subscription. Customers can also enter for a chance to win a free year of Dunkin' Donuts coffee.
Regardless if you are stopping in for your morning coffee, a mid-day sugar rush sweet or for something after work; you can now take care of your banking needs at the same time in Dunkin' Donuts. At least one Citizens Bank branch can claim they have the best coffee.
