A Pac-10 showdown will take place at the Los Angeles Coliseum Saturday afternoon with USC vs Oregon State. The number 4 ranked University of Southern California Trojans is looking to avenge their last season loss to the Oregon State Beavers.

Last season, the Beavers beat the undefeated number one ranked Trojans 27-21. This loss was not the first time the Beavers had spoiled USC's hopes of a national championship.

It was the second time in three years that Oregon State had beaten USC. The Beavers won last year off of the running of then freshmen running back Jacquizz "Quizz" Rodgers.

Rodgers manage to tally 186 yards and score two touchdowns against the Trojans. USC will have to figure out a way to stop Rodgers on Saturday if they want to win.

The weather is suppose to be beautiful Saturday afternoon as the Trojans attempt to add to their win record against the Beavers at home. The last time Oregon State beat USC in LA was in 1960. The Trojans are 39-3-3 when they have played the Beavers at home.

The Trojans are coming off of a late game scare in their game last week. Notre Dame missed a chance to score from the red-zone for the win in the last minute of last week's game. USC won 34-27 over Notre Dame.

Earlier this season, the Trojans lost to Washington. That loss has given them a 5-1 2-1 record so far for the season.

Oregon State (4-2, 2-1) has won two games, lost two games and then won two games this season. They are hoping that pattern does not continue against the Trojans.

Saturday's USC vs Oregon State game will definitely be one to watch. The Trojans highly ranked defense will have to stop the unstoppable Rogers if they want to avenge last season's loss.
