The Count von Count Counts The Google Doodle

Sesame Street will celebrate being on TV for 40 years tomorrow. As a way to celebrate, Google has been featuring some of the muppets on their doodles for the past week.

So far Google has featured, well let the Count tell us. "1 - Big Bird, 2 - Cookie Monster, 3 - Bert and Ernie, 4 - Oscar the Grouch, 5 - Elmo and 6 - me, the Count von Count. That makes 6 hahaha (thunder and lightning in the background)."

The Count is the Sesame Street muppet that loves to count. He will count anything.

A distant relative to Count Dracula, the Count is rumored to 1,832,652years old. The Count joined Sesame Street in 1972.

Unlike his distant relative, the Count enjoys the sunlight. Not being able to see his reflection in a mirror is the only vampire characteristic the Count has.

For the Count's doodle, Google has changed the numbers of the Google doodle into numbers. The G is a 6, the Os are zeros, the other g is an 8 and the E is a backwards 3. The Count is busy counting the doodle, of course.

It is only fitting that Google uses the Count as one of their doodles as they count down to Sesame Street's 40th anniversary. While Google creates another Sesame Street doodle, the Count is counting the candles on the birthday cake back on Sesame Street.
