

The ContourHD and ContourHD 1080p digital camcorders are designed to withstand the splashes of water and mud out on the course. With the new waterproof cases, the HD camcorder can be taken underwater.
Vholdr, the company that makes the ContourHD and the ContourHD 1080p digital camcorders have created a case to allow the user to record their adventures underwater. The waterproof protects the digital camcorder down to 10 meters.
Once the ContourHD or ContourHD 1080p is in the waterpoof case, the digital camcorder can be operated by sliding the record switch on the case forward to record and back to stop. There is also a power button on the back of the case as well as trail locks and a screw thread to safely mount the camera.
VholdRr has also created a lens kit for their digital camcorders. The replacement lens kit allows the user to replace the protective lens covers and even the lens ring when they are wore and damage from the abuse of mud, sand, limbs and possibly even small debris the ContourHD is exposed to on the adventures, such as the one in this video, it is taken on.
The lens ring will accept 37mm filters. Such filters as neutral density or polarizers can help the user in difficult lighting conditions.
