The Mysterious Google Doodle Of This Holiday Series Is Revealed

For the past several days, Google has continued their holiday tradition of creating a new Google doodle each day to send out their holiday wishes. Today's doodle is a bit mysterious on where it is from, but I may know where the location is in this Google holiday postcard doodle.

The scene in the Google holiday doodle for today appears to be as if you are floating down the river surrounded by tall, slim peaked mountains. There are fireworks in the sky celebrating the holidays.

The mystery location of this Google holiday doodle I believe is the Li River. The Li River is in the northeastern Province of China.

The Li River flows from Guilin to Yangshuo. There are peaks similar to those in the Google holiday doodle postcard today that line the river's banks.

The fireworks in the sky of the Google holiday doodle postcard are a fitting celebration for the Christmas holiday season. Fireworks were invented in China in the 12th century.

There are two ways to say Merry Christmas in Chinese. In the Cantonese version of Chinese it is "Gun Tso Sun Tan'Gung Haw Sun." In the Mandarin version, Merry Christmas is "Kung His Hsin Nien bing Chu Shen Tan."

Today's Li River postcard is the fourth of this year's Google holiday series. So far there have been holiday postcards from a tropical paradise, winter wonderland and a cabin by the lake.

Where will the Christmas Day Google holiday postcard doodle be from? That is the mystery now; until tomorrow morning.
