Google Doodle Is Out Of This World

There is a Christmas holiday season saying "Peace on Earth; Good will towards men." The Google Holiday doodle for Christmas Day is sending this message, sort of. The special Google logo today is definitely out of this world.

The last of the 2009 Google Holiday series doodles features a spaceship flying past what appears to be the Moon with a peace sign in lights. Guess it is more "Peace on the Moon, Goodwill towards spacemen."

Google has featured Moon recently in their special Google logos with a doodle honoring the discovery of water on the moon.

This is also the fifth doodle of the 2009 Google Holiday series. Each year, Google creates a series of special themed logos called doodles to honor the Christmas holiday season and to send their holiday wishes to everyone.

The theme for 2009 Google Holiday series is postcards with Christmas scenes from different areas. If you missed any of this year's special holiday doodles, here is another chance to enjoy them:
- Day 1: Tropical Paradise
- Day 2: Winter Wonderland
- Day 3: Lake Cabin
- Day 4: Li River

We will have to wait a whole year to find out what Google will use for the theme of next year's Google Holiday series. Google will treat us through out the year though with their special logos. The Google doodle for this Christmas Day is truely out of this world.
