Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf today called for "harmony" among Muslims and expressed "deep concern" about the power struggles in Iraq and Lebanon.
Speaking after talks with Jordan's King Abdullah II in Amman, Musharraf also said the Palestinian-Israeli dispute was "central to peace and security" in the region and beyond.
Later in the day, Musharraf traveled to Syria, where he met with President Bashar al-Assad.
