Japanese Minister Says Iraq Invasion Was Wrong

Japan's defense minister today said U.S. President George W. Bush was wrong to invade Iraq.

Fumio Kyuma made the statement shortly after Bush called for public support to send more troops to Iraq in his State of the Union address.

Kyuma also warned that Tokyo must carefully consider whether to renew its air force mission providing logistical support in Iraq before it ends in July.
