American Airlines Employees Charged in Drug Smuggling

American Airlines Puerto Rico Airport is targeted by the U.S. for drug smuggling.

Nine employees who worked for American Airlines have been charged for smuggling at least 19,840 pounds of cocaine from Puerto Rico aboard flights to the U.S. mainland in the last 10 years mainly to Florida and New Jersey.
