Baltimore City Police cars break down from high concentration of ethanol.
Unusual high concentrations of ethanol in Baltimore City's supply of gasoline caused more than 70 police cars to breakdown over last weekend.
Almost one-third of the police patrol was sidelined due to engine trouble when over 200 police cars fueled up at a 24 hour gas pump ran by the city.
Most of the vehicles were repaired and returned to the department by last Tuesday.
