The three night premiere of Dancing With the Stars starts tonight at 8pm/7c and it's already making news with rumors, injuries and speculation. Sixteen stars take to the dance floor tonight and there will be two eliminations during the course of the three night premiere. It's the largest cast in the history of Dancing with the Stars and ABC expects a huge viewer turn out.
Incredible dance Cheryl Burke is going to give strength to former Majority Leader Tom DeLay who reportedly has a stress fracture in his foot. Kathy Ireland also had a slight injury, a cut to her leg while surfing with her son, but it won't prevent her from dancing tonight with partner Tony Dovolani.
Donny Osmond will have a huge fan base and it's been said that he's going to be a big favorite when it comes to voting. He should know how to dance after all these years. Or is it sing? Can't recall but he's spent time on Broadway, so we're in for a show as he dances with partner Kym Johnson.
Last season Mark Ballas won the Mirror Ball Trophy with Olympic Gold Medalist Shaun Johnson. This season he's bringing his talent and good looks to the dance floor with Melissa Joan Hart. She's not the type of star to have a lot of hype, in fact, it's not clear where her stardom came from, but people do like her and if Ballas teaches her well, she could be the shining star in this premiere.
