If you have a few of the new Angus burgers at McDonald's, you will surely put on some weight. Your wallet might get a little heavier with cash as well. Starting October 6, McDonald's is bringing back its popular Monopoly game and it's going to be integrated with social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter. There's also another twist: There is a possibility someone will win $1 million every day.

Players who get game pieces for the Monopoly game from McDonald's can enter game piece codes online, and participate via Facebook and Twitter. Social media comes with a side of fries now.

The McDonald's Monopoly game runs from October 6 through November 2. Players collect game pieces, available on select food and drink items, in hopes of winning prizes ranging from free food to cash. Game pieces are available on Angus Burgers, Chicken McNuggets (10- and 20-piece), large fries, medium and large fountain drinks, large hot McCafé drinks and hash browns.

Now, it's not a wise idea to blow your cash or your diet on McDonald’s food in order to get your chance at winning $1 million. Millions, possibly billions, of game pieces will be issued, and only 29 players will get a chance at $1 million.

There's a way to get around all those calories with social media. Log into Facebook and become a fan of the McDonald's Monopoly game. You will get a free entry just for becoming a fan. Twitter fans can get in on the freebies as well. The McDonald's Twitter site, @mcdonalds, is giving away free food coupons and giving updates about Monopoly game winners on Twitter.

It might not be healthy eating, but McDonald's is a big name in fast food. May as well take a shot at a million dollars with the McDonald's Monopoly game. After all, with the integration of social media sites in the game, you don't actually have to go to McDonald's at all. McDonald's just hopes the thought of fries and $1 million will lure you in.
