Foxconn to Make Apple Tablet 2010

There is much speculation about the Apple Tablet which reportedly will have somewhere between a 10.1 and 10.7-inch display and e-book functionality. The Apple Tablet will focus on the device’s long battery life and quick Internet connectivity.

Foxconn is the largest manufacturer of electronics and computer components worldwide. Foxconn was founded in 1974 by Terry Gou who is still the CEO.

Foxconn has worked with Apple since 1986. They produce the Macbook, MacBook Pro and MacBook Air, as well as the iPhone and the iPod. Foxconn also produces devices for Motorola, Nokia, Sony Ericsson, and Palm. Foxconn is also the manufacturer of the Amazon Kindle.

Rumors that are spreading around the Internet will only be confirmed when Apple makes an official announcement about the Apple Tablet. At that point, the specifics of the Apple Tablet will be confirmed and it is likely a good bet that Foxconn will be the manufacturer.
