At the Tokyo Motor Show, Toyota will show off the EV II which is a compact electric vehicle designed for short distances. Honda, which has concentrated on hydrogen fuel cell vehicles as the greenest option for the future, has now said it will look at developing purely electric cars because of slow progress in setting up hydrogen fuelling stations.

The theme of the Tokyo Auto Show 2009 is “Fun Driving for Us, Eco Driving for Earth.” Along with providing information on cutting-edge technology and products to the world at large, the show seeks through various special programs to create as many new automobile and motorcycle enthusiasts as possible.
