Jon Gosselin Sued for Breach of Contract by TLC

Perhaps TLC should consider creating a spin off of Jon and Kate Plus 8 and base it on the the divorce proceedings since they seem to get more publicity than the show. Today, TLC filed suit against Jon Gosselin for breach of contract. Apparently Jon violated his contract by taking "charges that Gosselin violated his contract by taking paying gigs on other television shows without permission from TLC.

Jon Gosselin has been busy keeping himself in the news for the past few weeks. He withdrew over $200K from the joint account he holds with estranged wife, Kate and then was ordered by a judge to return the money by October 26th. On October 15, the Gosselin's ex baby sitter alleged that Jon Gosselin hacked into Kate's email, phone messages and online bank accounts.

Jon claims that he did not hack into his soon to be ex-wife's accounts, but there are reports that Kate may investigate this claim further.

The suit filed by TLC today in the Circuit Court of Montgomery County, Maryland indicates that Jon Gosselin broke an exclusive contract with TLC by appearing on shows including the CBS syndicated shows "Entertainment Tonight" and "The Insider". It also
adds that his constant criticisms and misstatements about the show to the press has hurt the show.

Jon Gosselin recently reported that he's going to stay in the television world long after the failing Jon and Kate Plus 8 show goes off the air. His friend, Michael Lohan, is going to help him with that pursuit. The world waits with baited breath for Jon's next starring role.

Jon and Kate Plus 8 will be going off the air in November. Hopefully the circus like divorce proceedings will fade into the background when the show ends.
