Early October snow at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA didn't stop the Patriots from a big 59-0 win over the Titans. The Tennessee Titans can't seem to catch a break in their winless season and today was no different. Not only did the New England Patriots trample the Titans, Patriots QB Tom Brady tied an NFL record with five touchdown passes in the second quarter.

The snow seemed to bring great luck to the New England Patriots. New England set franchise marks in points scored, yards (619) and margin of victory. The previous record for points was 56, which the team did against Buffalo on November 18, 2007 and the New York Jets on September 9, 1979. The previous yardage record was 597 and margin of victory was 53, both of which were against the Jets.

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady wound up throwing for a season-high 380 yards. Rookie backup Brian Hoyer then took over and directed the Patriots to their ninth consecutive scoring drive. It was Hoyer’s first career touchdown and it gave the Patriots a franchise-record 59 points

The Patriots 59-0 win over the Titans was a crushing blow for the struggling Titans. At 0-6, they took their worst loss since they began play in 1960 as the Houston Oilers. The snow didn't hamper the great plays made by the New England Patriots. They already know that New England weather can be very unexpected and didn't let early October snow get in their way.
