Walmart Caskets Ship in 48 Hours with No Returns

Funeral homes might be feeling the pinch now that Walmart, as well as Costco, sell caskets shipped to your door in 48 hours. However, you must make sure your dream casket is exactly what you want because Walmart doesn't take returns unless there is damage from shipping. In addition, Walmart stores cannot accept the return of any casket. Not that you could get it in your car or a shopping cart to get it to the return desk.

Listed under the rather spooky "funeral" tab on the Walmart.com website, there are a wide variety of caskets to choose as a final resting place. There are currently 14 caskets to choose from on the Walmart site. They range in price from $999 for a Lady de Guadalupe Steel Casket to $3199 for the Sienna Bronze Casket.

It seems a bit final to press the "Add to Cart" button but it's the only way to find out how much shipping is. Average shipping for a Walmart casket is $99. Fedex will deliver your casket right to your doorstep but it doesn't state whether it will be carried inside your home. You can opt to have it shipped directly to the funeral home as well if you aren't buying it for a costly Halloween prop or saving it for an unknown date in the future.

Shopping just keeps getting easier and Walmart is corning the market on everything these days. Caskets and urns are just a click away at Walmart.
