Christmas will be here soon and there are hot items on wish lists this year. Many people have a very tight budget this year, but with the help of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, many of the top electronic Christmas gifts will be less expensive to purchase. Electronics such as iPods, game systems and HD Camcorders top many 2009 Christmas lists.

What is on the wish list this year? Most products are electronic or video games and not inexpensive. If these hot Christmas items are on a wish list of someone you are shopping for, make sure to do your homework. Compare prices on-line against brick and mortar retail stores.

Popular on-line sites: Amazon, Target, eBay, Overstock, Circuit City, Walmart and Best Buy. There are hundreds of discount sites online and many major retailers will have great bargains on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, coming up after Thanksgiving.

Check shipping prices when finding a deal on-line. Often it's less expensive to purchase at a retail store to save on shipping.
