Honda unveiled the Skydeck,a new six-seater hybrid design, at the Tokyo Motor Show. The Honda Skydeck is roughly 13 feet long and is meant to have a sporty look while providing a large amount of cargo space. The Honda Skydeck is a minivan concept with seats that seem to float because they are fixed to the center console and not the floor.

The interior features a fold-down third-row bench seat, giving what appears to be an excessive amount of space. Second-row seats are able to slide forward and back with motorized controls to further maximize space.

Honda isn't giving out specific details about what's under the hood of this concept car, but the interior of the Skydeck looks like something from the future. The first two rows are cantilever mounted to a center tunnel, the second row of seats are able to slide forward and can be stored under the front seats.

Sporty exterior styling is part of the futuristic look of the Skydeck. It has a low floor and wide stance. Instead of looking like a conventional minivan it has a clean roof line and a sporty rear spoiler. A large hood, slanted headlights, and honeycomb grille add to this car of the future's look. Cameras replace the side mirrors, which are raised up higher than normal.

Honda officials have stated there are no plans for production.
